I feel that finding an agent you are comfortable with is similar to and as important to the connection with a good attorney, accountant or financial advisor, and it is my goal to help my clients make the best, informed decision regarding their real estate needs. Whether it is with a Buyer or a Seller, I enjoy working to help people with their goals. It is my opinion that real estate is a service business and that communication is a very important aspect throughout the home buying and selling process. I treat my clients with respect and I like to show them the hard work and ethical standards that I choose to use in my everyday practice. I am able to provide clients comprehensive real estate solutions with a high degree of competence and professionalism. I enjoy working through the complexities of the transaction and having the ability to solve a problem when it arises. Like selling or buying a home, first impressions are paramount to the success in obtaining a sale. In the same way your impression of your agent is also important. My youthful appearance defies my 35 years of age, and 5 years of real estate experience. Love of Portland
I work throughout the Portland Metro Area, and have lived on both the East and West sides of Portland. I am very excited to live in a city with so many beautiful homes and neighborhoods. I love the craftsmanship of each home and find the sale of a home to be an exciting time. One of my favorite moments during a real estate transaction is at the home inspection when my clients and I get a chance to explore the home more in depth with the inspector and discover unique features of its construction. I also love Oregon and am proud to be a life long Oregonian. I have moved back to neighborhood that my Father spent his childhood and am proud to share in the history where I live. I live 8 blocks from the church where my Aunt and Uncle were married 54 years ago. I also love the many activities and restaurants around Portland and the nearby outdoors that it has to offer. Whether shopping at the many natural food markets, or enjoying the many great parks, Portland has a great progressive and environmental spirit that helps to make it such a wonderful place to live. And I very much love that Portland was named the Best Cycling City in the US by Bicycling Magazine in 2008.
More to Me Than Real Estate
I have spent a good portion of the last 8 years playing competitive Ultimate Frisbee, and over the past few years have competed in marathons, triathlons, and other running events like the Hood to Coast. I have raised over $3000 for the Windermere Foundation through pledges from my family, friends and clients while running in the past two Eugene Marathons. In my spare time I enjoy running, playing soccer and Futsal. When I am not working, I am spending time with my partner, Mary, and our wonderful pets: Chaucer and Root, our cats, and our Golden Retriever, Beckett.
Qualifications
5 years in real estate. Principal Broker and Assistant Branch Manager with leadership training through Windermere/Cronin & Caplan. Earth Advantage S.T.A.R. `Green` Certified Broker. I have a background in construction, custom service and management, and bring this knowledge to my real estate career. I am a graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in English and minor in Chemistry, and thrive on my ability to communicate and to handle the details of a real estate transaction with professionalism, integrity and care.
